Home and Dashboard, split by job
Both surfaces stay, but they stop overlapping. Home answers “what needs me right now?” — one screen, no scrolling, no numbers. The Dashboard answers “show me everything” — the working surface, and the only place a figure lives. The rule going forward: if it is a number you act on, it is the Dashboard; if it is a thing waiting for you, it is Home.
1 — Home (arrival layer)
Premier member. Shorter than before: identity, one action, what is waiting.
When nothing is waiting: a single quiet line — “You're all caught up.” No filler tiles.
- Removes the 4 snapshot stat cards — those numbers belong where you can act on them.
- Removes the 6 quick-launch tiles — the Dashboard already carries the marketplace bar, division tiles and sidebar.
- The hero action becomes Create, not 'Go to Dashboard'. A page whose main button leaves the page is a hallway.
- Keeps the 2 contextual 'resume' cards — these answer 'what needs me now?' and nothing else does.
- Dashboard becomes one quiet link at the bottom instead of the primary call-to-action.
2 — Dashboard (working surface)
Same member. Everything it has today, plus the four stats Home used to duplicate.
- Absorbs the 4 stats as an 'At a glance' row, so no figure appears on both pages.
- Keeps everything it already has: account strip, work queue, marketplace bar, widgets, tabs, division tiles, footer.
- Adopts the shared tier identity, so Premier looks the same here as on Home.
Also fixed in this proposal
The two screens disagreed about what Premier looks like — platinum on Home, amber on the Dashboard, and Buyer bronze on one and teal on the other. Both now draw from one shared tier identity, so a member's tier reads the same everywhere. That file also drops the branch for a legacy member tier: SphereUs has no such tier, so those accounts resolve to the Foundation Community label rather than being handed one they do not have. The tier colours are kept deliberately off-brand — they are an identity layer, and if Premier's platinum became the brand green the tier would stop reading as a tier.
